Polywell Computers mini PCs with expansion slots

The development of computer technology is following the mainstream path of increasing integration of computer components. If some 20 years ago sound cards, video adapters and network adapters were necessarily made in the form of expansion cards inserted in the expansion slots on the motherboard, today they are no more than chips on the motherboard, and sometimes just part of a single crystal, called SOC (System On Chip).
The expansion slots themselves have also changed. They are becoming more compact and miniature, and their bandwidth is increasing. M.2 slots are now being used en masse to accommodate SSDs as small as 22mm x 80mm.
Along with them, miniPCI and miniPCI-e (third generation flexible small form factor interface) slots of various sizes are widely used.
The Polywell Computers lineup includes a wide range of PCs with different combinations of expansion slots. They are used to install disk drives, WiFi adapters (including WiFi 6), Bluetooth, 4G and 5G modules, and GNSS receivers.
In some mini PCs, even after installing all the necessary devices, there are free miniPCI-e slots, which the user can use at his discretion, for example, to install expansion cards that solve some of his specific problems.
We are well aware of how important a wide range of interfaces is in industrial computers. That’s why we take care of our users with non-standard tasks.
Polywell Computers mini PCs with expansion slots benefit from high reliability due to the use of industrial grade (not commercial grade) components. They are specifically designed for 365/24 operation. Unlike many competitors, Polywell Computers openly publishes mean time between failures (MTBF) ratings for its systems. This is typically 100,000 hours.
There are mini PCs with a significant number of USB ports as well as RS232/RS485 ports. Many industrial mini PCs are fanless, which accounts for their low power consumption and quiet operation.
These qualities of Polywell Computers Mini PCs with expansion slots make them very popular among system integrators and companies operating industrial facilities and networks.
Selection of Polywell Computers mini PCs with expansion slots by filter
Here you can select your system according to 43 parameters.
Start with the factor that is most important to you by selecting the appropriate value from the drop-down list. The products will be filtered and a list of systems that meet your first criterion will be provided. You can then specify other factors that are important to you. The first selection will be filtered through the subsequent factors one by one. It will show how many systems meet the criteria you set.
You can start over at any time by pressing either of the two “Reset” buttons.
