Polywell Adds SupremeRAID™ NVMe RAID Solutions to Its Server Portfolio

Polywell Computers continues to strengthen its server portfolio by making selected server configurations available with optional SupremeRAID™ by Graid Technology solutions for advanced NVMe RAID deployments.

Graid Technology is the developer of the SupremeRAID family of GPU-accelerated NVMe RAID solutions for modern enterprise and high-performance storage environments. This cooperation allows Polywell to address a broader range of storage-intensive opportunities, especially where customers require both NVMe speed and RAID protection in the same server platform.

Why This Matters

As NVMe storage becomes more common in modern server deployments, many customers want to preserve as much NVMe performance as possible while still adding RAID redundancy. In selected use cases, SupremeRAID™ by Graid Technology provides a GPU-accelerated NVMe RAID approach intended to reduce the bottlenecks often associated with conventional RAID methods and to support modern high-speed SSD environments.

The SupremeRAID™ lineup addresses different deployment profiles, from smaller edge and enterprise environments to more demanding high-performance workloads. Depending on product family and platform, available solutions are positioned for compact deployments as well as for larger NVMe SSD arrays.

For Polywell customers, this means selected server platforms can now be positioned more effectively in opportunities such as:

  • NVMe-dense storage servers
  • AI / HPC systems with high-speed local NVMe storage
  • Virtualization and cloud infrastructure
  • Enterprise databases and transaction-heavy workloads
  • Content delivery and media environments requiring resilient high-throughput storage

Polywell’s Approach: Optional and Project-Driven

Polywell does not present SupremeRAID™ by Graid Technology as a default option for every server. It will be offered where it fits the technical and commercial requirements of the project.

This is important because advanced NVMe RAID solutions depend on platform suitability, SSD topology, supported operating systems, and the right Graid product level for the intended workload. The objective is not to position SupremeRAID everywhere, but to provide Polywell customers with a stronger storage option where the application justifies it.

Technology Highlights

Depending on workload scale and deployment profile, the relevant Graid product families include:

  • SupremeRAID Core

Positioned for edge and smaller enterprise deployments, with RAID 0/1/5/6/10 support, PCIe Gen4 x8 interface, NVIDIA RTX A400 4GB GPU option, and support for up to 12 NVMe SSDs.

  • SupremeRAID Pro

Positioned for mid-scale enterprise environments, with RAID 0/1/5/6/10 support, PCIe Gen4 x8 interface, NVIDIA RTX A1000 8GB GPU option, and support for up to 32 NVMe SSDs.

  • SupremeRAID Ultra

Positioned for the most demanding high-performance workloads, with RAID 0/1/5/6/10 support, PCIe Gen4 x8 interface, NVIDIA RTX 2000 Ada 16GB GPU option, and support for up to 32 NVMe SSDs.

  • SupremeRAID AE

Presented as an AI-oriented software-defined RAID option for modern AI/ML and enterprise NVMe storage environments, with features such as GPUDirect Storage support, NVMe-oF support, and compatibility with clustered AI storage environments.

Practical Business Value

This optional capability helps Polywell participate more effectively in projects where advanced NVMe RAID is already part of the discussion. It also strengthens Polywell’s ability to address RFQs where customers are comparing several server vendors and expect modern storage acceleration options alongside strong compute platforms.

At the same time, Polywell keeps its main value proposition intact:

  • Flexible server configuration
  • Workload-oriented server families
  • Intel Xeon and AMD EPYC server platforms
  • Practical customization for enterprise and OEM opportunities
  • Direct and responsive technical/commercial support

Configured for the Right Opportunity

Because SupremeRAID™ by Graid Technology is not intended for every deployment, Polywell will position it selectively based on project requirements. Customers evaluating high-performance NVMe RAID options in storage-heavy, AI, virtualization, or enterprise database environments are invited to discuss their exact workload and platform requirements with Polywell.
